Bond Planning Cleveland ISD

Bond Planning Committee

Help Shape the Future of our District

Cleveland Independent School District (CISD) has formed a Bond Planning Committee (BPC) to develop a Bond Program to address immediate growth, campus parity and overcrowded school conditions. This committee serves in an advisory capacity to the Board of Trustees and the Superintendent.

The committee’s responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing existing facilities

  • Analyzing educational programs

  • Assessing staff and student needs

  • Examining data on CISD’s rapidly growing student enrollment

  • Evaluating the financial impact of a future building program on taxpayers.

BPC will deliberate and provide a final recommendation to the Board of Trustees for inclusion in a potential May 2025 Bond Program. The Board of Trustees will ultimately be responsible for the approval and execution of the plan.

To ensure the committee's success, volunteers will be encouraged to attend all scheduled meetings, with a minimum commitment of attending 80% (allowing for no more than one absence). Meetings will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Light refreshments will be served.
